PATTAYA

Meaning the 'south-west monsoon wind" Pattaya resort is located on the eastern coastline of Thailand's exotic Gulf of Siam and is approximately 140 km southeast of the capital city of Bangkok. Pattaya is second only to Bangkok in high rise buildings, as many condos for foreign residents are built, and has a modest skyline. The city's economy benefits from its relative proximity to Bangkok. The main attraction of Pattaya is its long curving beach. Stretching to the south, the hill rises and extends well into the sea. Pattaya enjoys a tropical wet and dry climate, which is divided into the following seasons: warm and dry (November to February), hot and humid (March to May), and hot and rainy (June to October). This prestigious award was voted for by over 400 global tour operator members of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).
